AI drafts. Humans decide.
AI can draft a dozen caption variations from a topic or photo. The hard part is making sure nothing goes out without a manager's sign-off. This demo shows the four approval branches.
What triggers this workflow
Topic, offer or approved job photos uploaded by the marketing team.

Workflow steps
- Twenty CRMUploadTopic, photos or offer captured; photos referenced by hash only.
- n8n + LLM endpointGenerateAI step drafts captions, hashtags and CTAs for the agreed platforms.
- Twenty CRM + n8nQueueDrafts sit in the approval queue — nothing publishes automatically.
- Twenty CRM + ListmonkApproveManager signs off, optionally with edits; scheduling follows the agreed cadence.
Tools used
Human handoff
A manager always approves before publishing
The AI generates drafts; the manager owns every publication. Approve, edit or reject — each path is logged with version + approver.
- Draft touches a sensitive topic
- Draft includes a regulatory claim
- Draft is for a brand-new product or service

Approval recorded with version + approver for compliance.
Sample data only. Numbers, names and messages are placeholders for illustration. Wire the live workflow separately using the setup notes below.
n8n workflow template
n8n template — LGM 06 Approval Social Content (SIMULATED, inactive). Ships with active: false — no live integrations are wired. See the setup section below for the wiring checklist, and download the JSON to inspect or import it.
Setup for production
Wiring it for production
Live deployment needs the LLM endpoint, the approval queue and the publishing channels.
- Connect the LLM endpoint — credentials in n8n, never in the workflow JSON.
- Configure the approval queue in Twenty CRM (draft → approved → scheduled → published).
- Wire the publishing channels (Listmonk for newsletter + the agreed social platforms).
- Document the brand-voice guardrails so the editor reviews with a clear lens.
Production prerequisites
- LLM endpoint configured with brand-voice prompts
- Publishing channels configured and tested
- Approver role defined internally
Nothing here runs by default. Configuration has to be in place before any live send, booking or contact write.
Questions
Can the AI publish without approval?
No. Every draft sits in the approval queue; the publishing step only runs after a manager sign-off. Even the library branch holds drafts back for next review.
How are photos handled?
Photos are referenced by hash in the demo. Production deployment needs a real photo store with consent and licence records per image.
